Tomato variety Bulgarian miracle

Pink-fruited varietal tomatoes are considered one of the most delicious and beautiful. Among the tested varieties is the Bulgarian miracle, which belongs to the category of Beef tomatoes due to its meatiness and large-fruited. The variety is not included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of Russia, but this does not prevent it from enjoying success with the country's vegetable growers. The variety is quite thermophilic, so it shows the best results in protected ground. Not a hybrid.

Description

The plant is indeterminate, tall. In the greenhouse it reaches 2 meters in height. Bushes are not very powerful, shoots and leafiness are moderate. Leaves are of the usual type, slightly wrinkled, medium in size, green. During the growing season, the plant forms up to 8 fruit clusters. They are quite heavy, each containing about 6 fruits. The peduncle is articulated.

Fruits are generally flat-rounded, with cheeks, of moderate density. They do not differ in homogeneity, tomatoes of different shapes can ripen in one brush. The skin is not thick, glossy. An unripe tomato is light green, without a dark spot at the stalk. When ripe, it acquires an appetizing pink-crimson color. The pulp is sugary on the break, very fleshy, delicate, not watery, very aromatic. There are many seed chambers (more than 6), but they are small, there are few seeds. The tomatoes are sweet, the taste is excellent. Our hero belongs to large-fruited. The usual weight of the fruit is 400 - 700 grams. But, according to reviews, when rationing the brush, real giants weighing a kilogram can mature.

  • The Bulgarian miracle belongs to the mid-season varieties. From the moment of emergence of full shoots to the beginning of fruiting, 110 - 120 days pass;
  • the yield is very good due to the large number of inflorescences and ovaries. Up to 15 kg are removed from 1 square meter, and with good care, up to 5.5 kg can be obtained from one bush. True, not all vegetable growers can boast of such indicators. Among the enthusiastic reviews, there is also evidence of the low productivity of culture;
  • our hero can boast of marketable fruits that, subject to normal humidity, are not subject to cracking;
  • flowers sometimes suffer from doubleness, because of which the tomato can acquire a deformed shape;
  • there is no specific information about resistance to viruses and fungi, just as there are no complaints about susceptibility to certain diseases;
  • transportability and keeping quality at an average level;
  • the way of consumption is, first of all, salad. But tomatoes are suitable for processing into juices, pastas, sauces.

Agrotechnics

It is advisable to sow seeds for seedlings 60 - 65 days before transplanting to a permanent place. The sowing time is best calculated by yourself. Planting density - 3 plants per 1 square meter. The soil should be loose, nutritious. In order for the palatability to correspond to the declared ones, moderation in watering should be observed during the ripening period. When grown in waterlogged soil, the taste of tomatoes will be watery and expressionless. The culture also needs feeding - it responds well to a combination of organic matter and mineral fertilizers. To increase productivity, boric acid is sprayed during flowering. The plant is tied up and shaped, mainly in 1 - 2 stems.
