The trees are medium-sized and fast-growing. The crown is strong, pyramidal, medium thickened. The branches extend from the trunk at a steep angle. Shoots are straight, of medium thickness. The buds are large, strongly deviated, vegetative - ovoid, generative - oval. The leaves are large, wide, ovoid, with a pointed tip and a rounded base, the color is dark green, the edges are framed with a double-serrated serration. The leaf blade is thick, leathery, flat. The petioles are short, medium-thick, pigmented along the entire length, on each of them there are 2 - 3 large, dark-colored glands. In the early stages of growth, trees require little or no shaping.

The flowers are white, medium-sized, saucer-shaped. The petals are loose. Each inflorescence contains 4 flowers. Calyx without serration, glass-shaped. The stamens and pistils are long. The stigma of the pistil is at the same level as the anthers. Fruit ovaries are formed mainly on bouquet branches (up to 81%), and only a small part - on the bases of annual shoots.

Cherry berries Revna medium size (average fruit weight - 4.7 g, maximum - 7.7 g, height - 1.9 cm, width - 2.0 cm, thickness - 1.9 cm), one-dimensional, flat-round shape, with wide funnel and rounded top. The skin is dense, glossy, dark red in color (almost black), a white dot is noticeable at the base of the fruit apex. The pulp is dark red in color, dense texture, excellent dessert taste - juicy, sweet. The juice is dark red. The peduncle is of medium thickness and length. The separation from the peduncle is dry. The stone is medium in size, weighing 0.29 g (5.2% of the total weight of the berry), oval in shape, with a rounded top and wide-rounded base, light brown in color. The separation from the flesh at the bone is good. The tasting score is 4.9 points. The level of transportability of sweet cherries is high. The purpose of the variety is universal.

By chemical composition, the fruits contain: dry matter (18.8%), the amount of sugars (12.6%), acids (0.30%), ascorbic acid (13.3 mg / 100 g).

Flowering takes place in medium terms (mid-May), ripening of fruits - in mid-late (late June - first half of July). The variety is partially self-fertile. The proportion of fruit set during self-pollination does not exceed 5%. Among the best pollinators of the Revna cherry varieties: Iput, Rechitsa, Ovstuzhenka, Raditsa, Tyutchevka, Compact Venyaminova.

The rate of early maturity of the variety is below average: trees begin to bear fruit only from the 5th year of growth. The yield is high: on average - 14 kg / v. (or 73 kg / ha), maximum - 20 - 30 kg / der. (or 112 c / ha).

The overall level of winter hardiness is estimated to be above average. Trees and flower buds are highly winter-resistant, the bases of skeletal branches and boles are resistant to sunburn and frost breakers. After severe winters, the level of freezing of trees did not exceed 0.4 points, buds - 17%, pistils - 76% at a temperature during flowering of minus 3 - 5 ° C.

High resistance of the variety to coccomycosis was noted.

Among the main advantages of the Revna cherry are: high winter hardiness, good yield, resistance to fungal diseases, high-quality fruits that are resistant to cracking.

The disadvantages include low early maturity and very low self-fertility.

Jealous is good because it "forms itself." We might just be so lucky, but our two trees have perfect branch deflection. Two beauties are pleasing to the eye)
